Bar and bat mitzvah photo booth rental in Lancaster, PA

The kids’ table and the grandparents, in one frame

A mitzvah party has two guest lists in one room: the thirteen-year-olds who came to dance, and the family who drove in from three states to watch them. The booth is the one thing on the night both of them line up for. We have run booths at bar and bat mitzvahs for years. This page is how we do it.

On the photos

You will not find the party’s guests on this page, and that is on purpose

We have a long history with bar and bat mitzvahs. What we do not have is a gallery of them here. Most of the guests at a mitzvah party are thirteen, and we do not post photographs of children, on this site or anywhere else, out of respect for the families who trusted us with their night.

The photographs on this page are stock and concept images that show the booth and what it makes. If you want to know how a mitzvah party actually runs with us, ask, and we will walk you through the ones we have done.

What the night asks of a booth

Four things a mitzvah party needs that a wedding does not

Two crowds, one line

The kids’ table goes in six at a time and comes back four times. The adults go in once, late, and it is the photograph they keep. The attendant runs the line so that both happen, and so that the props are still on the table at the end of the night.

The logo on everything

Most mitzvah parties have a logo by the time the invitations go out. It goes on the print, on the start screen the guests touch first, and on the keychains, in the invitation’s colors. The design is part of the booking. If there is no logo, we design the print around the name and the theme.

A favor made in front of them

Every guest takes a print home every time they go in. With the Keychain Booth, the favor is a real keychain with their photo sealed inside, made while they watch, and it is the one thing from the party still on a backpack in the spring.

Setup around the room, not around you

Saturday night after Havdalah or a Sunday afternoon, in a hotel ballroom or a synagogue social hall, we arrive about two hours early and set up whenever the room is free. Nobody on your side is asked where the outlet is, because the booth runs on battery packs.

In the room

Near the dance floor, where the kids already are

We need an eight foot square of level floor with eight feet above it. At a mitzvah party the right spot is beside the dance floor or between it and the lounge, so that the booth is where the kids already are and the adults pass it on the way back from the bar.

The candle lighting, the hora, and the speeches belong to the family. Book the hours for the dancing around them, and we will be set up and waiting when the floor opens, with the line moving from the first song.

Something to do, something to keep

The two your guests have not seen before

These hand people a real experience at the booth and send them home with something they cannot get anywhere else. They still get the ordinary prints as well, so nobody trades one for the other.

The Keychain Booth

The favor they are still carrying years later

Starting at $1,995

Every guest walks five feet to a second station where their photo is sealed into a real keychain and handed over while they watch. For the kids it beats anything in the gift bag, and for the grandparents it is a photo of the whole family they did not have to ask anyone for.

The AI Booth

They walk out as someone else entirely

Starting at $1,495

Guests are restyled around whatever the party is: superheroes, a sports theme, a watercolor, a caricature, or something built for this night alone. It is the one booth the kids line up for a second time, and every guest keeps the real photograph as well.

The classics

Looking for a traditional photo booth? We have those too

Not every night needs the newest thing. These two do what a photo booth has always done, and they do it properly.

The Glam Booth

The one people ask about afterward

Starting at $1,195

Black and white, color, or both, lit the way a magazine cover is lit. This is the one the adults ask about afterward, and the one the family photograph comes out of.

The Classic Booth

The strip everybody knows

Starting at $995

A clean black or white backdrop and the 2×6 strip. Guests jump in quickly, pose with whoever is nearby, and walk off with a print. It is the most affordable booth we run and the one everybody already understands.

All four booths take the same designed prints and the same backdrop collection, so the look of the party does not depend on which one you pick. Every price is on the pricing page.

The print

Built around the logo, and never the same twice

Two of the designs a mitzvah print can start from. Yours takes the logo, the name, and the invitation’s colors. Nobody in these windows is a guest: every photo in them is AI-generated.

What is included before you add anything

A print for everyone

Everyone in the photo takes one home, every time they go in, and sends themselves the digital copy at the booth by text, email, or QR code.

An attendant for the whole night

Not a drop-off. Somebody stays, runs it, keeps the line fair, and packs it down afterward, and their setup time is not billed to you.

A private gallery afterward

Every photo from the night, in one place, shared with the families you choose. Face detection means a guest finds every photo of themselves in seconds. Downloads are free and there is no watermark.

A design built for the night

Your backdrop from the full collection, a print designed around the occasion, and a start screen with the guest of honor’s name on it. None of that is an upgrade.

Planning the party and want to know if the date is open?

Before you write

What families ask us first

Will photos of the kids end up online?

No. We do not post photographs of children, and at a mitzvah party most of the guests are thirteen. You receive a private gallery of everything from the night, and it is yours to share with the families who were there. We never publish a full gallery of any event, and we will not use a photo from the party to advertise.

Can the print carry the mitzvah logo?

Yes. Send us the logo file and the invitation, and the print, the start screen, and the keychains carry the same design in the same colors. If there is no logo yet, we design the print around the name and the theme. The design is part of the booking.

Can it handle a crowd of thirteen-year-olds?

Yes, and it is the part we are best at. The attendant keeps the line fair, keeps the props from walking off, and makes sure the adults get a turn late in the night. Groups of six to eight fit in one row in front of the backdrop, and nobody is rushed through.

Can you set up before the party or during dinner?

Yes. We arrive about two hours before the booth opens and set up whenever the room is free, before the guests arrive or during dinner if the space is in use until then. Setup time is never billed against your hours.

What comes with every booth?

An attendant who stays with your guests all night, a print for everyone in the frame, a backdrop, a print designed around the party, sharing by text, email, and QR code, and a private online gallery afterward.

What reserves the date?

A signed contract and a fifty percent retainer hold it. The remaining half is due a month before the event, and everything else people ask us is answered on our questions page.

Tell us about the party

Send us the date, the venue, and the logo if there is one, and we will tell you whether the date is open and what the booth would look like in the room. We hold a limited number of events per date, and the good Saturdays go first.
