How Much Does a Photo Booth Rental Cost in Lancaster, PA?

Most photo booth companies make you fill in a form before they will tell you anything about price. We would rather give you real numbers up front, so that you can decide whether we fit your budget before you spend any time talking to us, and so that when a quote does arrive, nothing on it is a surprise.
Here is what a photo booth rental costs with us in Lancaster and across south central Pennsylvania, what that price already covers, which add-ons people choose, and what makes the number go up or down.
What people pay, generally
For context, the national pricing guides for 2026 tend to put a three or four hour rental with an attendant, unlimited prints, and a digital gallery somewhere between $700 and $1,500, with the simplest open-air setups below that and the specialty booths above it. That is a wide range, and the reason it is wide is that the words photo booth cover everything from a tablet on a stand to a studio lighting setup run by a trained person. The price is not really for the booth. It is for what comes out of it and who is standing beside it.
Our prices for weddings, quinceañeras, and bar and bat mitzvahs
Weddings, quinceañeras, and bar and bat mitzvahs follow a set timeline, so every booth has a set starting price for them. Most bookings land close to these, because every booth already includes an attendant, a print for every person in the photo, a backdrop, and a print designed for your event. Company events work differently, and they have their own section below.

The Keychain Booth, from $1,995. A second station beside the booth where every guest’s photo is sealed into a real keychain and handed over while they wait. Two attendants, a hundred keychains, and the favor nobody throws away.

The AI Booth, from $1,495. Guests pick a style, such as watercolor, pencil sketch, or caricature, or none at all, and keep the real photograph either way. A custom idea built for your event is part of the booking rather than an upgrade.

The Glam Booth, from $1,195. Studio lighting, your pick of any backdrop we own, and a skin smoothing finish that takes the edge off a long night. Black and white, color, or both, with guests choosing at the screen.

The Classic Booth, from $995. The 2×6 strip, a black or white backdrop, and the fastest route from stepping in to holding a print. The one nobody has to explain, and the most affordable booth we run.
What the price already covers
The biggest difference between photo booth quotes is usually not the headline number. It is what has been left out of it. None of the following is an upgrade with us, and none of it appears later as a line item.
- Three hours on the booth. The shortest booking we take. Most events land on three or four.
- An attendant for the whole booking. Their setup and packing down are their time, not yours.
- A print for everyone. Everyone in the photo gets one, every time. Six in the photo means six prints.
- A backdrop. Your pick of the collection on every booth but the Classic, which takes black or white.
- A print designed for your event, in whichever sizes your booth prints, approved by you before anything goes on paper.
- A custom start screen with your names or your logo on the first thing every guest touches.
- An online gallery with face detection, free downloads, and no watermark, including every photo without the design on it.
- Instant sharing by text, email, or QR code, at the booth.
- A choice of filters, including black and white and vintage, picked at the screen.
- Props, or none. A standard set and a premium sign collection on most booths, chosen to suit the event, or nothing at all if you prefer.

The add-ons people choose most
None of these are required, and most bookings add nothing at all. These are the ones people ask for most often.
- The Roamer Booth. Our attendant moves through cocktail hour with a camera, sending photos straight to guests’ phones as they mingle, then prints the copies during dinner so that they are ready to collect at the reception.
- Cocktail hour video messages. A microphone in front of your guests during cocktail hour, so that you hear the toasts that never made it to the floor. The booth then moves into the reception as a full photo booth for the rest of the night.
- A guest signing album. The guest book with the strips in it, the one people actually open again, with a sign that tells guests what to do.
- Idle time. For a booth that needs to sit between cocktail hour and the reception. It stays in place and staffed rather than being packed down and brought back mid-event.
- A custom prop of your last name. Your new shared name, printed and cut to order, and a keepsake guests can sign.
Every add-on has a fixed price, so there is nothing to negotiate and nothing appears on a quote uninvited. The full list, with prices, is on our pricing page.

A worked example
Say you are booking the Glam Booth for a wedding reception with a cocktail hour in a separate room, and you want the guest book done with photo strips. That is the Glam Booth from $1,195, an hour of idle time so that the booth is set up and staffed through cocktail hour, and the guest signing album. Your proposal lists each of those with its price beside it, so the whole number is in front of you before anything is owed.
Say instead you want the Classic Booth for a quinceañera and nothing else. That is $995, and it stays $995.
What moves the price
Three things decide where your quote lands, and none of them is hidden.
- Which booth. The four starting prices above are the biggest single factor, and the difference between them is what comes with each one rather than a markup.
- How many hours. Three is the shortest booking we take, and extra hours are priced per booth and quoted with your event, so that you see the whole number before you commit to anything.
- The add-ons. Each one has a fixed price, listed on the pricing page. If you add nothing, nothing is added.
What does not move the price is the date. A Saturday in October costs the same as a Friday in March. The price of a booth is the price of that booth, and what we have instead is a limited number of events per date, so that the popular Saturdays fill up rather than getting more expensive.
What does not cost extra
It is worth spelling these out, because they are the items that most often turn a low starting price into a much larger final one somewhere else.
- The print design, the start screen, and the backdrop, on every booth.
- Setup and packing down. We typically arrive around two hours before the booth opens, and that time is ours.
- The digital copies, the gallery, and the downloads. Nothing is watermarked and nothing is sold back to you afterward.
- A custom AI prompt on the AI Booth. Tell us the idea and we build it and test it before your date.
- Travel to Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Hershey, Gettysburg, or Baltimore.
Travel
There is no travel fee for Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Hershey, Gettysburg, or Baltimore. Philadelphia, and anywhere further out, is quoted per event, so just ask. We try to be very reasonable about it, and you will know the number before you are invested in the idea.
Corporate events and fundraisers
Company events and fundraisers come in every size, from a holiday party for sixty to a conference floor that needs two booths and three attendants, so we design each one around your headcount, your space, and your hours. For a company, the designed print becomes your logo, your event colors, and sponsor recognition on every print that leaves the room, and the start screen carries your brand. If you are running a gala or a fundraiser with sponsors, tell us who they are and we will build the print around them. For a large event, a second booth is often the better answer than adding hours, and we will say which if you tell us the guest count and the room.

How paying works
You get a proposal rather than an invoice. It shows the booth, the hours, the total, and the contract in one place before anything is owed, so that there is no version of this where you find out the real number after you have committed.
A retainer reserves the date, $500, plus tax, for a wedding, or half the total for any other event, and until that is paid the date stays open to anyone else who asks. Signing and paying happen in the same place online, with nothing to print or scan. The balance is due one month before the event, so that nobody is settling up while your guests are arriving.
Getting a real number for your event
Starting prices are a guide. For the actual figure, tell us the date and what the night is for, and a person will send back a real number rather than a range, with what is included spelled out. If you are asking for more booth than your event needs, we will say so. You can also see every booth side by side on our pricing page, or read what to ask any company before you book.
