A gala booth has to look like it belongs in the room. At Penn-Mar Human Services’ Black Tie Gala at Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre, the print is designed around the evening, the backdrop is chosen to suit black tie, and the sponsor’s logo goes on every print and every strip, so that the sponsorship goes home in guests’ pockets instead of staying on a banner by the door. It is why Penn-Mar brings us back year after year.

When Windsor Electric Company celebrated its 70th anniversary at Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre, the anniversary logo went along the bottom of every print and the props carried the occasion. A company celebration is a night for your people and their guests to enjoy together, and everyone in the frame goes home with a print that has your company’s name on it.

Photo booths for trade shows and conventions
On the show floor at The Baltimore Convention Center, Solventum ran the Glam Booth for nine hours straight. The screen carried the brand, the green screen put the Inner Harbor behind every visitor, and every print carried the logo, the conference, and a QR code that sent people back to Solventum, so that the booth brought traffic to the exhibit instead of only taking photos.

For a black tie wedding or gala, The Portrait Studio brings a photographer and a 5×7 print in an 8×10 mat for each guest or group. Each booth below comes with an attendant, a print for every person in the photo, a backdrop, and a print designed around your event.

What Baltimore couples and planners ask first
What comes with every booth?
Every booking includes an attendant who stays with your guests from the first photo to the last, a print for everyone in the frame to take home, a backdrop, a print designed around your event, sharing by text, email, or QR code on the spot, and a private gallery of every photo afterward. We set up before doors open, and that time is not billed against your hours.
Is there a travel fee to Baltimore?
No. There is no travel fee to Baltimore.
Can you work a convention center or hotel load-in?
Yes. We send your venue and your AV team our footprint, our load-in and teardown windows, and what we bring ourselves, and we run on battery packs, so there is no power order to place for the booth. Tell us the dock or the entrance and we will work to it.
Can you send our venue a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Liability insurance is in place, the certificate naming your venue as additionally insured goes out whenever it is requested, and we handle that paperwork with the venue rather than passing it back to you.
How much room does the booth need?
Plan on eight feet by eight feet of level floor, with eight feet of clearance overhead. The booth runs on battery packs, so nothing has to be taped down, and we are in the room roughly two hours ahead of your start time.
What reserves our date?
The date is yours once a signed contract and a fifty percent retainer are in. The other half comes due a month out from the event, and the questions we hear most often are answered on our questions page.
